The Chair shall be the chief executive officer of the Academy and shall be responsible for the management of its operation. The Chair shall supervise the administration of the Academy, including the implementation of policies adopted by ASPA, the Board of Directors, the Operations Committee, and the House of Delegates. The Chair shall preside at the meetings of the Academy, the Board of Directors, and the House of Delegates. The Chair is further responsible for monitoring and directing Academy activities to ensure objectives are being met.—————————————————————

The Chair-Elect shall succeed to the office of Chair upon conclusion of the term of office for which they were elected, or upon a vacancy in the office of Chair; and perform other duties as directed by the Chair. Committee responsibilities: Operations Committee.
The Secretary shall record the minutes of all meetings of the Academy; serve as custodian of the Constitution & Bylaws, Standard Operating Procedures, records and files of the Academy; and perform other duties as directed by the Chair.
The Treasurer shall assume responsibility for the financial affairs of the Academy and act as Chief Financial Officer. As shall make recommendations concerning the Academy’s financial affairs to the Chair; and perform other duties as directed by the Chair. Committee responsibilities: Finance
The Member-at-Large performs duties related to various Academy publications, website and social media accounts, member communication and shall perform other duties as assigned by the Chair. Committee responsibilities: Communications (C).
The Member-at-Large for Membership shall perform duties directly related to the Academy membership and shall act as an advocate for the membership. This position will be the point of Board contact with most of the membership and shall perform these and other duties as assigned by the President.
The Consortium Liaison shall represent AACPM at Consortium meetings as one of AACPM’s two voting members on the Consortium Board; and perform other duties as assigned by the Section Chair.
The Immediate Past-Chair, a non-voting member of the Board of Directors but a voting member of the House of Delegates, shall advise the Chair as requested and perform other duties as directed by the Chair. Committee responsibilities: Society Support Committee.
